Trauma was once imagined as something that left a witness behind, and as something time might eventually make legible. But cinema, performance, and the platforms we now live through have made that confidence harder to sustain. Rethinking Trauma begins by asking where the inherited vocabulary still helps us see, and where it begins to fail when trauma no longer appears in the forms theory was equipped to recognize.
