The Multimedia: Sound and Editing specialization route provides specific training in film and television production and post-production, through knowledge and skills in the field of sound capture and processing and in image post-processing software, using specialized editing, colorization and graphics software. Skills in this area are acquired through an emphasis on the apprehension of technical concepts and the development of creativity in the use of the sound-image relationship. Multimedia productions, video installations, animations or other hybrid genres are part of the auteur productions specific to this pathway.

The specialization in Cinematography, Photography, Media combines theoretical courses with a set of practical workshops, giving students the chance to gain a complex professional knowledge in the fields of film, television and media production. After completing a general theoretical and practical preparation in the first year of study, students have the possibility to opt for one of the four specialization pathways (Film and TV Imaging; Film and TV Directing; Multimedia: Sound and Editing; Audiovisual Communication: Scriptwriting, Advertising, Media), according to the Rules of distribution by pathway in the specialization Cinematography, Photography, Media. Each route has disciplines with specific objectives, but also some common core subjects. The acquisition of practical, artistic and transversal skills, such as teamwork, is done through common themes in several specialized subjects, which are considered as the main objective of the semester. Each student, regardless of the route they chose, will have the opportunity to cover several media genres, in order of their complexity. In the area of interest of the graduates of our section:

Film productions: fiction, documentary, animation;
television productions: reportage, news, talk-show, teleplay and other television programs
media and multimedia productions: music video, experimental film, advertising film, video installations and other hybrid genres.
The interactive nature of the discussions, the innovative and creative approach to theoretical concepts and the numerous filmed exercises make this specialization a harmonious blend of theory and practice in an artistic field that makes intense demands on the potential, accumulated knowledge and determination of the students.
